TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent inspections by immigration authorities in the Ratchatawee District revealed that several foreign residents were fined for not reporting their places of residence as required by the TM30 regulation. This involved checks at local condos, resulting in fines for those who failed to notify authorities of their accommodation status.

I guess they’re going to each condo building, asking the manager for a list of all foreigners and cross referencing.

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you are saying regarding the TM30. For example, when a registered resident of a condo (tenant) has been away on vacation or few days away and they return to condo they have not reported on TM30, following return from vacation?

I thought so as well, thanks.

Do you have to do that? In Bangkok, for example?

Say I go to another part of the city and the hotel tm30's me. Would I (or my landlady) have to do it again within 24 hours of returning to my condo?
