Hi guys - I completely forgot to do my 90 day report (for 4 of us). I did it today but we’re a day late. On top of that we’ve just left for 4 days holidays away. Is the fine 2,000 or 5,000THB (I’m getting different numbers from Google but the immigration site says 5,000 😭) and is it a one-off or a per day fee? Do we have to leave our holiday and go back to immigration? Any advice greatly appreciated and yes, I already know I’m idiot for forgetting.

Thanks in advance 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user missed their 90-day report in Thailand and is seeking advice on the potential fines and consequences. Comments clarify that if the report is submitted 1 day late, the standard fine is 2,000 THB, and it's not a daily charge. Several users recommend going to immigration as soon as possible to resolve the fine and confirm that the situation does not jeopardize visa status as long as the fine is paid.

Brandon Thurkettle is this 14 working days before or weekends included? Thanks 😊

After the 90 days you have 7 days grace period. After that you will be charged 2000 baht fine.

Don't worry about it. Just either deal with it when you're next at immigration, see what they say then. If you leave Thailand before visiting immigration then it all re sets.

Where are you staying at? We are happy to help.

you can do 7 days late - if too late 2000- but if you leave - dont do - leave and start again with day 1

I've been from 2 days late to 96 days late. Apart from a 2000b fine it has no effect on any visa situation such as re entry, extension ,etc as long as you pay any fine outstanding. Maxed at 2000b regardless of how late it is.

thank you!! I was afraid it was a daily thing so we’d have to leave the holiday! Anyway- we will go to immigration asap, pay the fine and be done. Thanks for taking the time to respond 🙏

A friend of me never did the 90 day report...he never had a problem at the airport. But sure its better you do it.

you'll never have a problem at the airport. They don't care there.

What do you mean you did it today? If you did it today it would be done and you would know if you were fined or not when you handed your application to the immigration office.

The window for doing your 90 day report is 14 days before the due date to 7 days after the due date without a fine.

The window for doing your 90 day report online is 14 days before the due date up until the due date, but some offices now require you to submit the report from 14 days before the due date to 7 days before the due date and will reject any submission closer than that.

If you go to 8 days after, it will be 2000 baht fine for failing to submit your report regardless of if it's 8 days or 8 months late.

online - I did it today online and they’ve sent me a one liner saying it’s been rejected. Presumably because it was a day late.

Ok so the fine is capped at 2,000 regardless of time elapsed?

Thanks for the response 🙏

I've never pay a fine for not doing TM30 or 90 days report. Khon Kaen immigration don't care about much, lol!

thanks 🙏 appreciate that! I might just try that here in Samui 😉

You can't do the 90 days report online if it's your first 90 days report. It must be the case because 1 days late will not be denied if you try to do it online. You can do it online up to 7-10 days late.

thanks for the response. It’s not my first time doing it online - have done online for probably the last 3 cycles? It would definitely help if they gave me a reason why it was rejected…

@Paula ************
If you've done the last 3 cycles online you should have received an email reminder 2 weeks in advance for your next report.

@Paula ************
because you can't file online beyond the due date

Maybe Tm30 and 90days report showing in different adress.There are many people got rejected like this.Maybe u forgot went to other province and when u back u didnt filled tm30 then hotel reported u stayed that hotel.And Tm30 in that hotel will be your last adress in System.

if you'll be back from your holiday before the 7 day deadline you'll still be able to report in person as long as it's not a weekend.

apologies - I’m not being clear enough. By late I mean after the 7 day grace period. As in had I done it yesterday I would be within the 7 day grace period but, sadly and foolishly, I didn’t so technically I am 8 days late.

If we stay here and go back to immigration on Friday/Monday we will 100% be fined either way but I am trying to understand if we will be fined one fixed penalty of 2,000 each or will it be 2,000 for every day late?

Thanks again 🙏
John **********
@Paula ************
you can't file online beyond the due date so that's why it will have been rejected
Brandon ************
@Paula ************
just wait until you need to use immigration again and take care of it then. It's the same fine regardless and you can stop worrying about the 90 day report altogether until the next time you leave and return to Thailand or until your next interaction with immigration.
