Hey folks! So in my haste to return to the country before the lockdowns, I actually completely forgot to file my TM30 once I got into the country 😩☹️ I arrived March 15th.

What will be the penalty for this? I’ve read some previous reports that it could be 2000 baht or maybe 1600 baht? should I just get to immigration as soon as possible and be honest with them and let them sort this out?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the penalties for not filing their TM30 form upon entering Thailand before the lockdown. Community responses suggest visiting immigration to report the oversight, with potential fines of up to 2,000 THB, though some immigration offices may charge less. Additionally, it was noted that the responsibility for filing the TM30 often lies with landlords.

In many cases it's actually the landlords responsibility to file this within 24 hours. I was in this situation not to so long ago and the IO told me this herself.

So yeah, the landlord covered the fee. He was a bit reluctant but he knew it was ultimately his fault.

Sure, just pointing it out in case. I was renting a condo at the time.

Yes, visit immigration and make the report. Fine is up to 2.000 Thb, it is less at most immigration offices.
