asking for a friend who isn't on FB. For some reason he thought 90 day reporting had been put on hold. He has therefore not done it for a while, so what does this mean he needs to do? Will he be given a fine or anything worse

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your friend is 7 days late in filing the 90-day report, he will incur a fine of 2,000 THB the next time he interacts with immigration. No additional penalties apply.

If he is 7 days past due in filing a 90 day report, he will be fined 2K THB the next time he does something at the immigration office. There are no other penalties.

thanks.

Same fine regardless how late you are. So, if you've already missed your date cutoff, just forget about it until you need something from immigration next time.

thx so even if he's 6 months over, it's just a 2k fine and no big issue?

Yep, or even if it's a year over for that matter.
