Hi everyone,

I currently hold a DTV visa and don’t have a Thai bank account, so I wasn’t able to set up monthly payments for my fitness membership.

Because of this, I was required to make an 8-month cash prepayment.

Also, the amount I paid was actually higher than the advertised price, and no discount was applied.

Now, for my renewal, they are asking me again to pay either 5 months or 1 year in cash.

Has anyone in a similar situation been able to pay monthly using an international credit card without a Thai bank account?

I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

Thank you!

Kbank DD

I am trying to set up a direct debit payment from the UK into my Kbank, I cannot get through to them on the phone the Live chat is a robot and not answering my question and the email I sent will take up to 10 days

My question is does the swift code need to contain the main bank code or the branch code

With best Regards

hello. I have a very specific question. I am in Thailand half the year in Canada half the year. I have a year round condo rental.

With this visa, we can obviously not get a bank account.

I am wondering how people pay their bills during the time they are not in Thailand.

Specifically, I am looking to pay my true phone bill, my water bill, my electric bill and my cable bill

I really appreciate any information you can offer

Bank of Ayudhaya i have tried to pay someone in five different ways to an account there over the last 10 days and even when the payee has presented the reference numbers and copies of the payments they have been sent to the bank have still denied they have receiving them. Wise,Revolut Remitly and WU returned as wrong details "they are correct and confirmed" direct bank transfer they deny they have received even though i have proof they have. The account being paid into has been confirmed as working and unrestricted by the bank itself. Total insanity.

Something going down with bank accounts today. Seen several posts across the visa groups. Not sure if it’s a particular bank specific thing or what. The posts mention about the banks closing accounts of people not on long term visas.

If anyone has information as to what’s going on then please share.

Advice needed from Revolut bank account holders please.

I am trying to send payments via my Revolut Thai Baht account to a Krungthai bank account, but it won't accept the account number in the usual Thai format (###-#-#####-#) .

Any clues how to circumvent this ?

Advice rather than snide comments much appreciated in advance

Wise (aka Transfer Wise) sent me a "Wise card." What exactly is it good for? I thought Wise was *only* for transferring funds. 🤔

Have anyone transferred on a regular basis money from a Thai bank to an overseas bank?

What are the ways except PayPal ? Fees I and limitations imposed by thai banks to do so?
