Advice needed from Revolut bank account holders please.
I am trying to send payments via my Revolut Thai Baht account to a Krungthai bank account, but it won't accept the account number in the usual Thai format (###-#-#####-#) .
Any clues how to circumvent this ?
Advice rather than snide comments much appreciated in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post relates to difficulties faced by a user trying to send payments from their Revolut account in Thai Baht to a Krungthai bank account using the standard Thai account number format. Community members suggested various solutions including using an international payment option in the app, removing spaces from the account number, using the BIC/SWIFT code for the Thai bank, and clearing cache on devices to resolve issues with the app. Additionally, some users recommended using Wise for transfers as an alternative.
clear the cache and the history, rebooth the computer (or smartphone, whichever) and start all over again. No spaces, no separation keys. Thai BIC/SWIFT code
computer's cache. Just rebooth, if you are in standard settings, the cache will be cleared automatically when reboothing. You see, the App always recognizes your previous mistakes and won't accept corrections. After a rebooth, all this information is deleted

Havent sent from Revolut for years but just checked and I put on with just the numbers. But you are better using Revolut to fund Wise transfer as your receiving Thai bank will charge you as if an international payment. It also takes 3-4 days for the payment to arrive whereas Wise is instant.

you need to remove the separation keys as they will be read like the "minus" symbol. Just write the account number WITHOUT any spaces
that's what I am saying, it wants the SWIFT format. No space in between . . You can google it . conversion to SWIFT . . you need the BANK BRANCH swift code!

Try going directly to the website instead of using the app. Sometimes that helps
that's not the reason it doesn't work. It is those separation keys between the numbers. He needs to remove them and write the account number without any spaces

Log into the app, click details then choose international tab instead of local. Hope this helps

no, this is wrong! A Thai account uses the SWIFT format, this is only numbers, no spaces . . an IBAN number contains 22 parts! I have never seen a Thai bank account with 22 digits including a country code
of course it is an IBAN transfer from your home bank account to the Revolut account. But it is not an IBAN format any more for the next step. A Thai bank account is in SWIFT / BIC format
