TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues with their bank cards while trying to complete a visa application online for Thailand. The community suggests several troubleshooting steps, including using different banks or card types, contacting the bank about restrictions, and checking for potential fraud issues with the website. Some users also recommend trying different browsers or devices and warn about fake visa websites. Additionally, there's mention of specific cases where payments are blocked due to internal bank security measures related to suspicious transactions from Thailand.
You have to be extremely careful when you pick a website there's a lot of fraud ones out there and they will not take a card because they're marked as fraud with the credit card company I had a fake visa company charge my card $375 for a $30 Visa 13 times under four different names thankfully my bank declined all of those charges because they were marked as fraud. That's probably what's happening with you. So don't keep trying it. See the government of Thailand has no idea the s*** that we go through to try to get a f****** visa online. That's why they need to go back to the old way that worked face to face in person in the embassy. See these m************ government employees They don't even want to come to work since covid and they are working at home they'll only come in for appointments That's if they even have the energy to look at the f****** appointment book to see if there are any employments. Every immigration police should have to try to use their system. So they understand it better. There's probably a hundred fake sites out there that take your money That's one thing I like about Malaysia it's a free 90-day tree Visa on arrival. So if anybody's trying to charge you money for that visa it's a fake company. And there are many. You can file for the 90-day Visa on arrival right at the airport when you get there or you could do an advance but these sites these fake ones they look just like the official government site very difficult to tell but with Malaysia you can tell because they're charging money. Another thing is her websites are pure s***. They don't talk to other networks. Or sites or connections from different countries you name it they're just full of bugs whoever designed the website should try to use it one time. You'll have to try about 15 times before you get it to go through.

Also try a different internet browser or a tablet or PC as sometimes people like myself had trouble with Apple Safari.

Contact your bank, it happens often. Recently I could not book a flight on the Japan Airlines website. My bank lifted the restriction after I called them and I was able to book the ticket.

I've seen some specific issues block payments for "unknown countries", such Thailand in this case. When I applied for myself, I used my Korea-issued card, no problem, but when I applied for my mother, her Costa Rica issued-card was always denied, as somehow the bank internal security was automatically trigged by a "suspicious" Thailand activity. Said so, the good thing is that you can use any card, it doesn't need to be one on your name. If yours aren't working, try asking to a friend from another country. I bet even Thai-issued cards would also work.
