TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew a Non-Immigrant O visa for a one-year extension, the required photo size is 4x6 cm, which differs from standard passport photos used in many countries. It is also advisable to make an appointment at the Chaeng Wattana office if you are in Bangkok, as this is the designated location for such extensions.

If you check out the TM7-form, you'll see that the size is mentioned in the square where you attach the photo = 4x6 cm. Fyi,there's no such thing as a visa renewal,it's an extension to your permission to stay.

Thai immigration demands 4x6cm pictures which are not regular passport pictures in every country
