Probably been asked a zillion times so apologies, If we apply for our dtv and get it does it activate immediately or when we land in Thailand?

My retirement visa will expire early May. I am in Pattaya. How long before the Visa expires do I need to start the paperwork. Sometimes these things take a day or two, other times a week or two.

I got my DTV, but the note in remarks is wrong, it says in Thai, Passport expires 7 Dec 2029. But my passport actually will expire 27th.

Could this be an issue? Should I contact the embassy to fix it?

After cancelling it at immigration, how many days to i get to leave the country ?

Does it expires at the end of the current visa date or does it get cut ?

Hi, I am in thailand with a working Non-b visa. I have the multi entry permit too. The thing is I will go to my home country for christmass, i forgot to look at the valid until date of the visa and now i see the visa is valid until 15 of january, same than my multri entry permit. My flight will arrive bkk on 15 of january. Im gonna lose the visa or have any problem? Or they let you come in and fix the visa problem paying the 500 bahts/day penalty?

How long after your Company cancels your workpermit do you have to leave the country? Can you stay till the end of your current Non B visa or is there a nominated date but he company or immigration?

Good day, my covid visa will expire on May 29. My flight has been canceled yet again. Question, am I still eligible to get another covid visa? If yes, can I go to the immigration days before the expiration of my covid visa? I read on this page that May 29 will be the last day of granting covid visa. TIA

My current visa runs out on the 16th of april. I am waiting to see if the covid extensions are continued before making my next move. My visa ends during songkran here. Are the immigration offices closed during songkran? Thanks

Hi anyone any knowledge of this...colleague (Filipino) and myself (British) just went to immigration to renew our extension of stay for Non B Visa. Normally it's a 12 month as applied for on our paperwork. He gets 5 months extension until February 2019 I get a 9 months extension until May 2019... Previous years always got 12 months extension every time....these extension are with 90 day checks at local immigration not border bounces....anyone have idea why shortened time extension....
