ORIGINAL POSTERThis is meant as a warning. Do not use the embassy in Kuala Lumpur to obtain your DTV.
I was issued my DTV there and it was not for 5 years, but until the expiration of my passport...about 3 years, in my case.
Clearly, someone in KL did it wrong. However, it would appear that I have no recourse.
