Post edit: at 5.50pm I received an email... And got approved!!!! What a turn of events lol I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who replied.
Hello,
I'm worried because I applied in Cambodia for dtv remote work on April 9th. The latest update on the site is from the 10th and nothing since then. I know that songkran delayed things a bit but my visa in Cambodia lasts until the 6th of May and I'm getting super stressed about it.
I sent them a polite email on Monday to ask if any more documents were needed or if they needed me to come over to the ambassy in case they have questions but I didn't get any answers or updates on the site.
Not sure if there's anything else I can do rather than waiting but I feel lonely and overstressed at the moment and just want this to be ove as I'm getting tired of extending my hotel day by day. So I guess maybe if someone has some guidance or went through a similar situation can help that would ease my mind a lot
🙏
On the plus side I've only been treated by respect and friendliness by Cambodians here and feel really welcome so I'm grateful for this. But not be able to plan anything (I'm tired of the digital nomad life after 7 years and want to settle down in Thailand at least for the next 5 years) is giving me high anxiety.
I know it depends on the embassy, but I wanted to get some advice on my application for work Remote Work Visa (DTV). I just started a new job as an HR Manager on October 19, 2024, working fully remotely, mainly handling recruitment.
I’ve put together all the required documents for my application, including:
• NOC and Employment Certificate: Both outline my position, joining date, salary, and confirm that my work is fully remote. They also state that my company has no objection to me applying for the DTV visa to work from anywhere.
• Job Description: Highlights my remote recruitment responsibilities.
• Hotel Booking and Flight Details
• Bank Statements, Resume, and LinkedIn Profile: Showing my background, including freelance work and years in recruitment.
Since I’m new in the role, I don’t have a transaction from them yet to my bank . Do you think this is enough to make a strong application? Any tips or suggestions would be really appreciated!
