How long does it typically take to process a NON-O visa application, especially during holidays?

I applied to non-o 3 months visa online 20 days ago. There is no reply yet. When I check my application status it shows pending document check. I suppose there were some Songkran holidays this month, but is it normal that this procedure takes such a long time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a non-O visa online and has been waiting for 20 days with their application status showing 'pending document check.' They question whether this delay is normal, especially considering recent Songkran holidays. Community comments suggest that processing times can vary greatly depending on the embassy, and it's recommended to check the embassy's processing policy and contact them directly if no communication has been received.

That depends on the embassy/consulate you applied through. For example, 20 days are way too short for one embassy such as Paris, but way too long for some other embassies.

Did you check their visa processing policy on their website?

And,

Check the spam box to check if you have emails requesting additional documents.

Ankara says “IT TAKE 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER SUBMITTING THE COMPLETE APPLICATION OR RE-SUBMITTING THE REVERTED APPLICATIONS) FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE VISA.” on website. They also have holiday calendar on their website. Check them and see if you are still in the processing time or not.

Contact them directly if both are negative.

We process many cases through the online portal and have noticed email issues on their end over the past two weeks. It’s possible they tried to contact you, but the message didn’t go through.

We recommend reaching out to them directly to avoid delays, as they may be waiting on a response from you without realizing the email failed.

Also, which embassy did you apply through?
