Anyone have any advice on submitting 90 days online? Every time I do it they take a VERY long time to respond to it and I end up having to go to Chaeng Wattana, which I do not want to do as it is terribly far and such a long wait.

I submitted my 90 days within the 15 days (14th day) and it has been pending for 3 days straight. Everyone else I know who submits their 90 days online gets a response within hours or less on the same day.

I called Immigration and they could not check for me. She gave me two phone numbers, one rings and rings and someone refuses the call after a few rings, and the other is "not connected yet" according to the information that I get when I call it.

Does ANYONE have a phone number I can call or is there ANY way I can find out what the hold up is on my 90 day application? I filled it out accurately and well within their period, it's just taking forever. I know 3 days is a short time, but as each day passes, it becomes later and later and causes me to make plans of going to to Chaeng Wattana.

Thank you.

UPDATE: APPROVED!! The same day of payment! The application went from “ready to submit-awaiting paymentnt” when we woke up, to “paid” after he went and fixed their little mistake giving the rest of the 9k baht at 9am (see below), to APPROVED by 2pm😄

Highly recommend the Savannakhet consulate in Laos!!! Just make sure they dont get confused by how much money you owe them when you get to the consulate to pay😉

Anyone else apply in Savannakhet Laos? Submitted the application yesterday, this location requires you to apply online, then go to the consulate and pay the visa fees in person 10k baht.

Well today my husband who is applying as a spouse on my DTV visa (acquired in Teipei in November) went to pay with the 10k baht in hand. For some reason they only took 1k baht and handed him back the rest. Super odd right? Has this happened to anyone else?

Any ideas why they didn’t just take the 10k?

**Applied for DTV - Workcation in Pakistan – Pending Documents Check

**

I applied for the DTV in Pakistan on 7th January. Here's the timeline of events:

1. 8th January: I received a request to submit my CNIC, hotel booking, and flight ticket. I promptly provided all the required documents.

2. 10th January: I was asked to submit a clear passport picture, a return ticket (yes, they requested a return ticket), and my hotel booking again. I explained that I don’t have a hotel booking because I’ve rented a property in Krabi with a lease valid until the end of June 2025.

My flights are landing and departing from Bangkok, which might have caused some confusion. If needed, I also have a flight ticket from Bangkok to Krabi that I can provide.

Since 10th January, my application status has remained on "Pending Documents Check."

I finally managed to reach the Thai Embassy after numerous attempts. I explained my situation and emphasized that my flight date is approaching. Unfortunately, the response was that the embassy has no control over the process and that I will receive an update once the headquarters (Bangkok Consular Department) approves my application. I requested if they could follow up with the headquarters, but the call was abruptly disconnected.

For context:

* When I initially applied for the DTV, the embassy staff suggested applying for a TR visa instead, as it reportedly has a higher chance of approval. However, as a Pakistani passport holder, a TR visa would allow only a 60-day stay with no extension under normal circumstances. Additionally, I wouldn’t be able to apply for a DTV from another country due to passport restrictions.

At this point, all I can do is wait and hope for the best.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, a question if anyone else is facing this and recommended action, I applied for DTV on 22nd of December and gave all documents required, on 23rd it went from pending document check to pending approval, and its been like that since. embassy took 31, and 1st of January off and the rest are working days.. website says processing time is within 10 working days and its been 14 working days and status is the same, I couldn't get any information by calling the embassy. should I pay them a visit? is this normal to take that long? no extra documents were required.

My kids dtv visas didn’t finish until after our travel dates (mind you I started this processing 3 months before our planned journey) but the embassy (DC) kept taking 3 to 4 weeks to ask for more documents, by this time our flights had come. I entered on DTV my kids on visa exempt, 2 weeks after arrival they have sent their evisa dtvs.

My question is, can we go across the land border to Cambodia, stamp out but on entry stamp in under the dtv with one of these border run agencies? Or does anyone know a driver who can get take me and kids (total 6 people) to do this?

Thank you very much.

And for everyone who says I should have waited for their visa to come first, you are more than to keep scrolling.

I applied for a spouse visa in HCM on the afternoon of the 28th afternoon.

The status of the checking document was changed to pending approval on Sunday, and until today, neither additional documents have been requested nor approval has been received. I have submitted all the required docs as:

PP bio

HCM arrival stamp

Flight ticket

Hotel booking in HCM

6months bank statement with 500k Baht under my name

Cover letter

My husband's DTV visa

Sponsorship letter from my husband

Marriage certificate

What I'm worried about now is that my flight is tomorrow afternoon, so if I don't have the approval yet, will I be able to pass through the Thai immigration as the arrival visa?

Please also assist sharing if you have any experience about what to do for the stamp if I get approved after arriving in Thailand 🥹

Thank you 🙏

Any successful or unsuccessful stories about obtaining a visa from Nairobi? Due to the long waiting times for visa processing in countries near Thailand, we decided to fly back to Kenya, considering it’s for an East African passport holder. I’m still thinking about applying for a soft power visa or a workcation visa with a large YouTube channel (not travel-related, more educational).

Unfortunately, the embassy in Nairobi has been unresponsive despite making dozens of phone calls throughout the month and sending several emails. The only information available on their website is that the DTV visa can be issued.

Another question, if the main applicant gets approved in Nairobi, is it possible for us to return to Jakarta or Taipei for family members to apply as dependents? The embassy in Nairobi states on their website that they don’t accept documents without an East African residence permit. Has anyone tried this approach having the main applicant apply in their home country while dependents apply for their visas at embassies near Thailand? Thank you!
