Can anyone recommend a good long-term health insurance for the multi Thai DTV Visa?
Also, can people please tell me roughly how much they pay because I’ve got quotes that are super super high and just wasn’t expecting it to be that much money
I do also need to be covered for obviously the Muay Thai and also diving
Hello all, i have just gotten my DTV and currently in bangkok. Looking to purchase an insurance for hospitalisation coverage in thailand. Would appreciate recommendations 🙏
Looking for a recommendation for a local insurance company and travel insurance (baggage delay, loss, etc) that covers DTV holders. My current insurance starts and ends in my home country which I don’t actually reside in so not applicable - any help is appreciated!
Back to working on my visa options. Do you know if nomad insurances like safety wing etc are accepted by the Thai government as insurance for a retirement visa?
Edit: In case it’s helpful to anyone else, I worked my way through four representatives at SafetyWing and got my answer. It appears I will be able to purchase a longer coverage period to cover the length of my full stay in Thailand, so they are working on getting that in place so that I will be able to obtain an amended certificate of insurance. Thanks for everyone’s input.
Has anyone from the US gotten a 60 day Tourist visa or Thai Pass approved using SafetyWing’s Nomad insurance as their insurance? I signed up but it has a 28 day rolling subscription, so only shows 28 days of coverage at a time on the proof of coverage certificate, even though you can keep it for up to 364 days as long as you don’t cancel the coverage. Wondering if Thai authorities are aware of this or if I’ll have issues when applying for visa/Thai pass?
Help with COVID insurance. I will be 75 next month and applied for AXA. I was told I don’t meet their requirement. No reason provided. I think Luma had same age requirement. Does anyone know of a company for us older guys? My preliminary COE was rejected because I did not provide COVID insurance info.
