request for further documents on DTV type

i submitted all documents (payslip, proof of residence, bank statement, work contract). (Thai embassy vienna via website "thaievisa")

3 days later i got the request to submit additional documents

Other request documents (The DTV will be considered for remote workers, digital nomads, freelancers, and participants in certain cultural activities. Please upload a cover letter specifying which category you align with.”

what could be the reason, since i already provided my work contract.

* because the 100 % remote work is not explicitly mentioned im the work contract?

* from your experience, was the specific mentioning of 100% remote work required ?

* is an explicit cover letter next to the work contract required?

thank you

Is there any Indian citizen who has applied for Thailand's new DTV visa for digital nomads? How was your experience? Did you face any issues with approval?

More documents requested got me confused. Please help!

About my situation: i applied for the DTV visa a couple days ago and yesterday got a response requesting more documents.

I have a german citizenship, but i dont have a permanent residency anywhere, because i founded a US LLC in Florida, left germany and just travel the world.

Right now im located in Austria and thats also what i wrote in the visa application, but somehow now they want austrian documents from me which i can‘t get because those are only accessable for austrian citizens or people that have a permanent residency here.

Chatgpt said there is no permanent residency needed for the DTV visa.

Also they want all my company documents of „Austria“ which doesn‘t make sense because neither am i austrian nor is my company austrian.

I hope you guys can help me because im totally lost with what to do right now. 🙏🏽

Hello guys, Has anyone who applied for the DTV subcategory "Workcation" (e.g., digital nomads or similar, not "Soft Power") received a visa approval that specifically states "work permitted"? I'm curious if this is mentioned. Could someone who fits this category please check their visa approval and let me know?

Reading between the lines of posts and comments in this group and the implication is that proof of a long term residence in Thailand is unnecessary. Yet the visa form asks for an address and guarantor, and the the DTV specifications do mention “Proof of prolonged residence in Thailand for at least 6 months, such as a condominium rental agreement, lease agreement etc.” I’m sure this is an oversight for digital nomads whom, by definition, are comparatively constantly on the move, but I’m sure I’m not alone in worrying about this clause. Please can anyone provide information for how to handle this issue (e.g., do you have to provide proof of a 6-month booking?). Thanks and good luck all.
