Hello all, I have a Non-O visa with 1-year extension based on marriage. I recently started traveling again for business and got a multiple re-entry permit at BKK. I’ve since exited and re-entered Thailand twice. In both cases I didn’t need to fill out a TM6 upon return. Question: How do I handle my 90-day report? I’ve been doing it online during the pandemic and recently got the reminder email that it is due on August 28th. So should I just proceed with filing online as usual? Will there be an issue since I don’t have a TM6?

Hello everyone. I entered Thailand a year ago on a Tourist visa, then switched to a one year ED visa that is coming up on March 7th. I got married my Thai wife 2 weeks ago, we live in Bangkok. I also deposited more than 400,000 BHT into a Thai bank acccount on January 1st, it arrived in my Thai bank account on the 5th. What are my options to stay in Thailand long term?

Can I get a 60 day extension based on visiting family? When can I apply for this, how far in advance before the end of my current extension does it have to be? What documents do I have to show, and since the marriage certificate is only 2 weeks old will they accept it without any update?

Can I get the 1 year extension based on marriage now? I kinda doubt it since the money arrived on the 5th and March 5th is a Saturday. What day do they use, the day when I sent the money or the day it arrived in my bank account? Also since I have to apply at least 15 days before my current extension expires and the money has to have been in my bank account 2 months before the day of application that doesn’t seem possible.

Or if none of these work maybe I could switch to another ED visa or a volunteer visa?

Good morning thanks very much to the admins of this group for the great advice in letting me know the urgency of beginning the process of obtaining paperwork and marriage registration before my school contract ends next month 👍 we got the ball rolling yesterday with a roadtrip to Bangkok, applied for the affirmation and certified passport copy a few weeks ago on Gov website and appointment to do oath was quick at the Embassy and have an agency doing the translations and MFA and hopefully all posted here by midweek next week 👌and then onto to the local Amphur 💍hopefully if we are married by then we can go to Mahasarakham immigration to start the process on Monday 20th, I'm wondering if this is a standard request for them to swap the Non-B extension to a Non-O extension a few weeks before my school contract ends(October 15th) I've heard the process can take 5 weeks for Non-O based on marriage but my visa expires on November 20th so hopefully it will be ok

Any advice for us to get prepared will be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏

Hello, if I could kindly ask a few questions please.

I have travelled back to Australia in July 2021 for a few months or just a little longer. Before coming back I was/am on a lease, where my wife and son still are. I had previously completed a Tm30 for that. I was on a 1 yr extension of stay based on marriage as well as having the required Covid insurance.

My visa has since expired as well as the Covid insurance since arriving back in Aus.

I am pre planning and would like to ask.

.

(1) - Do I need to do another Tm30 when I return as I previously done so and lease still current?

.

(2) - I apply just for the 90 days NonO visa then afterwards apply for the extension of stay based on marriage?

.

(3) - Do I need to purchase a 1yr Covid insurance or can I just apply for a 90 day policy giving I will be then applying for the extension of stay, or will they then ask me to apply for a 12mth policy?

I think that is it, other than the COE, Aus travel approval on my end in which I can sort.

Any info would be much appreciated once again

Kind regards

Hello, I am sorry if this question is being asked before.

I am currently living in Thailand. I have an extension of stay based on marriage (Non-O).

I just got a job offer (Business-related position) and my employer is applying for a working permit.

Since I didn’t enter Thailand with a non-B visa, is this possible to apply within Thailand?

What is the process here?

Do I still get to keep my non-O and a non-B?

Thank you very much!

Quick report on a visit to Impact to do 90 day report this morning .

I arrived at 8.50 .....I hadn’t made an appointment .

Was given number 71 . All done and walking out by 9.45 , which I thought was ok.

Staff very courteous , suggested I made an online appointment next time to make it even quicker .

My yearly extension based on marriage is due in about 4 months and she informed me that I can apply up to 35 days before due date , although I thought it was 45 days. I may have mis-heard her obviously .

Hi, I am hoping to get some visa advice.

I am marrying my Thai next year and will change my visa from Non immigrant B to O.

Q1: Can this be done in Thailand? Or will I need to leave the country? And what documents will I need to do this please?

Q2: If I want to change jobs, would it be better/easier to still be on my current non immigrant B? Or should I change to a non immigrant O before changing employers?

Thanks a bunch for your help!

Online 90 Day Report - Chiang Rai Immigration Office.

I have a Thai marriage visa "1-Year Extension of Stay Based on Marriage". Earlier this year I traveled out of Thailand and returned (using my Re-Entry Permit) and "Checked In" at my local police station because I live in a rural area. I did my first 90 day report in person ( because you have to report in person the first time) at the Chiang Rai Immigration Office with no issues. :)

I have just completed my first 'Online 90 Day Report"! It was simple and I received approval less than 48 hours later. I then was able to print out the exact "Receipt of Notification" (that includes the next reporting date) that the local office usually staple in my passport.

This was a painless exercise, saving me a trip and some time to the Chiang Rai Office.

I hope this info is helpful to those of you who don't like waiting. :)
