I understand that it’s possible to get two tourist visas per year without much trouble. Am I right in thinking that the year is calculated as a calendar year - so two tourist visas between January and December of a particular year?

If this is the case then could I get a tourist visa from September 2025 to December 2025 (including 30 day extension) and then two consecutive tourist visas from January 2026 to May 2026?

Do we get a reset every January?

Good morning from Bang Tao. I have a quick question, to which I think I know the answer, but would appreciate confirmation (or correction!)

Am I correct in thinking a UK citizen can reside in Thailand on a tourist visa for two slots of 3 months every year? So for example, January to March, and then July to September?

Thanks and have a great day.

Hi guys.

I have been to Laos, Savannaket, twice already. Once to do a border run and the second time was to get my tourist visa. I will be going back at the end of August to apply for my Non-O. I just wanted to know if I will have any issues going back as this will be my third time. Although, I have only been to the Thai embassy once.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thank you.
