I noticed a few cases of Malaysian or Singaporean successfully applied for DTV beyond Singapore.

Even when I contacted the Thai immigration office, to date their messenger agents had no idea regarding the policy of Singapore passport holders CANNOT apply for DTV yet.

When I inquired the Royal Thai Embassy in Cambodia, they advised me to apply online with them but I have to enter their boundary before doing so.

I'm a Singapore passport holder and is currently living in Singapore. Thus I've applied online with both Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and Consular in Penang, both are now pending for document check.

Refer to the email replied from the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore as shown in the picture, they mentioned that all Singaporeans, Malaysians and Tunisians are not entitled to receive any DTV in Singapore at the moment.

I would like to double confirm are there any Singaporean who have already successfully achieved the DTV in Malaysia or Cambodia? Waived visa fee?

Has any Singapore citizen (Singapore passport holder) succesfully applied for the DTV visa in another Thai embassy (eg Yangon, Jakarta, Taipei or Laos)? If yes where did you apply and what are the documents needed? Thank you 🙏

For Singaporeans, I know they’re currently not issuing DTV visas for us from the embassy in singapore (I also just checked a couple days ago so no changes here) but has anyone with a singapore passport managed to get it from another embassy in another country? Thank you! X

I'm from a Singapore that have visa exemption for 30 days. My question is that if I enter Thailand from Malaysia does that I can't enter into Thailand thru Malaysia for more than 2 times with the exemption free visa?

Hi,

I am Singaporean and can enter on visa exempt.

1. Can I extend 90days after I enter?

2. Can I extend longer than 90 day? E.g 120 days

2. Any limit to how many times I can do that in a year?

Thanks

Hi everyone 🙂

Am holding a Singapore passport and would like to ask if anyone knows how strict immigration is on visa exempts? I’ve stayed for almost 2 months in June to Aug, a week in March and 2 weeks in April and would like to head back to Bangkok at the end of the year (about 2 weeks, somewhere along Christmas and new years). I’m currently based in Singapore and won’t be doing any travelling to Thailand until then.

Are they most likely to stop me at immigration or should I get a SETV? Any advice would be helpful, this is my first time travelling a lot to Thailand 😅 haven’t done any border bounces at all and have been travelling by air to Suvarnabhumi airport only.

Thank you for all the help~

Question: Does a Singapore passport holder entering Laos for a week's visit, need to fill out the evisa? It's open borders for ASEAN nationals but just wondering about this evisa form, if it needs to be filled up and submitted 3 days before entering Laos? Entering from Nong Khai by car.

hey guys, i need advice. i unintentionally overstayed as i was under the impression that i could be in thailand visa-free up to 90 days with a singapore passport only to find out it's 90 days (multiple entries) within 6 months and only up till 30 days (single entry). i already have a ticket back this weekend, but i would've overstayed for about 27 days. i just found out today when my friend asked & decided to check... what should i do now?

should i go to the immigration office tomorrow or just wait it out till end of the week and pay a fine at the airport? im kinda worried as this is the first time something like that has happened to me so im not sure what to expect :(
