My inquiry is regarding workpermit cancelation & current visa status. My employer terminate my work contract on 31st March and cancel my work-permit while I am away for my holidays in my country. My current visa on my passport will be expired on 30th April and before leaving TH I purchased my re-entry permit stamp which will be expired on the same date of visa stamp.
Question is, right now with the current status am I able to return to TH using my existing visa on passport or It has been cancelled since the day my WP has been cancelled.
Note : New employer about to process my new work-permit. So they want me to return before the expiry date and for the visa processing. But not sure my current visa is still eligible to enter TH or not.
Hello good people ! I would like to ask for some advice.
My last working date is April 30. Before leaving Thailand, I need to cancel my visa and work permit (WP).
1. Which one should I cancel first either visa or work permit? Meanwhile, based on the photo above, the resignation letter can be submitted up to 21 days before the resignation date. My new employer also mentioned that I can go to Immigration between April 21-25.
2. If visa cancellation can be done before my last working date, how many days can I stay in Thailand after canceling my visa?
3. Do I need to apply for a 7-day short visa extension?
Currently on non b - employed by Thai company the past few years. Visa expires this month. I also have enough of an online business that will allow me to qualify for DTV. I only took the non b because I didn’t want to do border runs and just allow myself to nest. Im nester! 😊
sooo… can I just leave Thailand when the visa is set to expire, and submit my application/materials? Is having had a non b visa any type of red flag?
Should I switch to tourist visa for a few months and then apply?
I just concluded a contract with a Thai company and canceled my Non-B visa and work permit today with permission to stay until March 19th. The company staff told me that I can change the visa and extend to Non-O based on marriage.
1. Is that true?
2. Do I do this at CW or Chamchuri Square (where the Non-B was issued)?
3. Can I just get a short extension as I have a business trip in April and can then just come back in and do the normal extension process based on marriage?
Hello, I am currently residing in Thailand with a non-immigrant b visa with work permit but I would like to leave my current situation and apply for the DTV instead. Does anyone have experience or know how it works applying for the DTV when already on another visa? Thank you.
