Question about financial requirements for non o guardianship logistics
Planning on non o guardianship visa for my wife and I, matched with student visas for our 2 kids. For the finances, do my wife and I need separate bank accounts or can we do a single joint account?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-O guardianship visa, it's advisable to confirm with your specific immigration office whether a joint bank account is acceptable. While some offices may approve joint accounts provided the total balance meets the financial requirements, others might require separate accounts or double the amount in a joint account as they consider that only half the funds belong to each individual.

Some immigration offices won't accept joint accounts, those that do want to see double the money in the account as they take the view that only half belongs to you
Generally there is no absolute answer to this, and you need to discuss it with your specific immigration office. However, several immigration offices do accept a joint account if, taken together, it qualifies in the same way as if you had applied individually.
