Can anyone tell me the requirements for a Certificate of Residence? Apparently I need one to get a Thai drivers license?
TIA
Answer summary
To obtain a Certificate of Residence (CoR) in Thailand for acquiring a driver's license, you generally need to present your passport along with a notification of your address registration (TM30). Some expats reported needing only one CoR for obtaining multiple licenses, while others indicated that different regions may have varying requirements, sometimes necessitating two separate certificates. It's advisable to check with your local Immigration office for the specific requirements in your area.

TM30 stands for address registration, you just need the notification that your address is registered. Ask your landlord.
TM47 is a report that you are 90 days consecutive in Thailand.
KnowledgeableRaccoon5198 Really? I got bike and car together in Chiang Mai and only one CoR. Not conversion though. New licenses and tests in Thailand.
