Hi. Can anyone recommend a good agent in Nz to assist with DTV workation application via Nz embassy please ?
Answer summary
A user inquired about agents in New Zealand who can help with a DTV workation application. Several commenters advised that individuals can handle the application themselves, highlighting that the process is designed for self-application and can be efficiently managed through guidance from the embassy or previous posts. Some suggested agencies in Thailand for assistance, like Issa Compass and Siam Legal, stating they provide online support. Others offered their own experiences with the DTV, suggesting that while agencies might help, the applicant should consider doing it on their own for cost-effectiveness.

I’ve emailed the embassy to ask what documents will be required, as I’ve lived away from New Zealand for awhile. Is anyone happy to DM me who has gone through this process? Would greatly appreciate it 🙏
The embassy in NZ is super helpful with answer questions! I emailed them a whole list and they got back to me pretty quick. Unaware of any agents in nz sorry
Realising Workcation /Freelane can be more complex for some and if you want an agency then use an in-country agency in Thailand which is all online anyway and maybe a zoom call. Siam Legal is probably the most reputable and some others are shonky offering waivers on bank balances etc.
Thanks. Yes I get that but it’s my first time and I’m a bit unsure about a couple of the requirements so would rather pay an agency the first time and have it correct.
