I have to go to Chiang Mai for one night to get my friends from the airport. My tm30 obviously is registered to my address . Ideal I want a hotel that will not raise a tm30, but it's not an ideal world. So if they do raise a tm30 would need to go to immigration within 24 hours of my return to register to my address again. Hi all, a question on behalf of my dad who's living in Thailand on a UK state pension.

He has come back to the UK after 6 years in Thailand and plans to stay here for around 6 to 8 months. He has let his residents visa expire in Thailand before coming back home to England.

If and when he returns to Thailand, will he permanently keep his pension increase that he will have received for over 6 months here?

Hello all. I’m I correct to understand that I can go from Canada (origin) to Thailand for 90 days with an extended tourist visa… then go to, let’s say the Philippines for a week. Can I then go back to Thailand for another 60days plus 30 days extended?

Quick question for those that have been to thailand/phuket recently.

Are they still giving the 60 day visa exemption? I heard they wanted to cut it back to 30 days.

Got my flight soon I'm wondering if I should buy flight for the 30 day limit just in case.

I have applied for LTR visa under pensioners category. The folks at Thai Board of Investment are unwilling to accept balance in the money market fund with Fidelity and asking me to provide proof of Thai insurance with minimum coverage of $50K. I am seeking your suggestion for the cheapest health insurance provider acceptabtle for visa purpose. I am looking for the cheapest one as my current insurance coverage will continue indefinitely and I don’t want to pay for expensive coverage when I already have one.

Also if I get the coverage, can it be from a future date as I don’t plan to move to Thailand until November. Those who have got OA visa from US may know this as they may have obtained health insurance. Thank you all!
