Quick question for those that have been to thailand/phuket recently.

Are they still giving the 60 day visa exemption? I heard they wanted to cut it back to 30 days.

Got my flight soon I'm wondering if I should buy flight for the 30 day limit just in case.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers to Thailand, specifically Phuket, can currently still obtain a 60-day visa exemption. Despite rumors of a potential reduction to 30 days, recent confirmations from visitors indicate that the 60-day policy remains in effect. Additionally, if changes occur in the future, there are options for a local extension to 30 days.

Still 60 days and that’s all anyone knows. If it get turned back to 30 days at some point in the future you still can apply for a 30 days local extension.
