Hi, I have 4 year membership at a Muay Thai gym and have applied for the DTV visa with that. But I don’t think the gym is registered with sport authority of Thailand. Has anyone actually been rejected as I haven’t seen that yet?

Update: just a small glitch ..payment went through and just waiting for the evisa to HCM..not a waste of time really..reading responses from kind people...i hope we don't take for granted the time that other spend to respond to our posts..it is never a waste of time!

UPDATE: changed to ‘pending approval’ late last night - note that this update doesn’t get sent by email. Fingers crossed for Monday - I’ll keep you updated and share my experience 🤞🏼

My partner and I applied Sunday evening, Tuesday had a document request that we both submitted within 2 hours and the. Have had no update since..

I’m aware that Thursday was a holiday so that pushes the 5 working days to EOD Monday.

Anyone else in a similar situation? Seems odd to not have had any update from the document being submitted ..

And from other posts it doesn’t seem like a document request resets the 5 days (lots of people get approved within a couple of hours of a document request)

Any recent experience on processing time in Munich consulate? I would apply for dependent visa(wife). My approval took there 10 days. Do you think it can be faster for a dependent?

I hope this post is okay here, even though it’s not directly about the DTV Visa. I’m seeking advice on investing in mutual funds or ETFs in Thailand as a DTV Visa holder. I have Krung Thai Bank account and I found some mutual funds there but it might need to open mutual funds account.

Are there others here in a similar situation? For context, I’m from Asian Country not from Europe or US just from Myanmar and currently living in Thailand. I’d like to know about the policies, tax implications, and options available for someone with my visa type.

I’m planning to invest a portion of my monthly income and would greatly appreciate any insights or experiences you can share or get some advice.

Is it true that only Filipino citizens can apply in manila for dtv?

I already train at a Muaythai gym in Pattaya, but I don't think they are set up to help with DTV.

1. If I have to change gym, what's the minimum period of enrolment for a successful application?

2. Do I have to re-enrol at the same gym? Would I be able to re-enrol at my USUAL gym even if it's not the one on my original application?

Hello to everyone in the group, a Spaniard living in Cambodia. I am going to Thailand in January to renew my passport. I have read that from December/January onwards you have to fill out an online document, I think it is called etravel or something like that. Do any of you have the link and can you tell me what it is for? We Spaniards do not need a visa, we have a visa exemption for 60 days but it seems that this online document is mandatory for everyone.
