I'm coming up on my 90 days check in.

I'm a Remote Worker for a foreign company.

I prefer to do the 90 days check in without leaving Thailand.

Any recent successful stories?

What document do I need?

Please let me know if I'm missing anything:

Passport

National License

TM30 - 1 Year Condo

eVisa - DTV

Employment Verification

Employment Pay Stubs

>50K HYSA Monthly Statement

Ok so need a bit of advice from those in the know. I arrived in Thailand on a Non O visa on the 18/06 went to the local immigration office yesterday to get proof of where I am living ( to open bank account ) To get all things sorted for retirement extension. Hit a bit of a wall when the immigration officer said you can not ask for the retirement extension because in thai in the remarks line they had written business. The application was submitted via the London Embassy. Has anyone a) been in this situation, and what solutions did you find. The Officer said you need new Non O go to Laos and apply there.

My possible solution and happy to be shot down if this is a stupid thought is go to Laos return on a visa exempt stamp and convert that in country to a Non O and then take the retirement extension.

In a perfect world trying to get the authorities to reissue a copy of the original visa with that word removed.

I'm getting my dtv visa at age 43 years old and after 5 years into the visa, I'll be 48. What would be the best way to bridge the gap to stay in Thailand for two years until you qualify for a retirement visa at age 50?

May i ask a question about DTV?

Must the applicant stay at the country where he apply DTV until he get the visa?

Is anyone experience the interview with officer and appreciate for any sharing how long it takes to release the result following to the interview?

Just clarifying but is there any policy that stops a DTV holder from buying an apartment or condo? Is renting out the property also legal on a DTV visa?
