TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have a multiple-entry tourist visa (commonly misidentified as a 90 Day TR visa), you do not need to obtain a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand, as the visa allows for multiple entries. Each entry grants a stay of 60 days, which can be extended once by an additional 30 days.
There is no 90 day multiple entry visa. There is a 6 month METV visa granting you multiple entries, each entry is 60 days and can be extended once per entry another 30 days. You need to enter before the expiry/enter before date on the visa for your final entry and stamp.
then you can come in/out all you want right up until the 5th of Sept and each time you enter you will get stamped in on a 60 day stamp
If you have an eVisa from the online application website, make sure you print out that PDF <- as it is your visa, and show it & your passport when you stamp in
