Everything else question. A friend is staying in my condo for a month or maybe two, so checking that's within the 'law' someone mentioned, on short term stays (or should I ask the office). 🤷

A follow-up question if I may, as the advice was very helpful last time! I just entered Thailand yesterday on 60 day visa exempt stamp, can I apply for a Non-IMM O 90 visa anytime or do I have to wait a certain number of days? Also, how long does this take to process?

I ask as I am on a bit of a timeline, trying to get the 90 day, then wait, then apply for yearly extension on marriage, before I go to UK for Christmas! The months fly by. Thank you so much.

Hi everyone! I’m planning to apply for DTV (Remote Work stream) in early September. Does anyone have recent experience applying from nearby countries like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, or Malaysia — especially as a Chinese passport holder? Would love to hear which embassy was easiest to deal with and had the fastest turnaround. Thanks in advance!

Am thinking of applying for a dtv. Is the requirement tk have 500k baht in a Thai bank or in a foreign bank to that value - as I understand you cannot even open a bank account over there with dtv.

Could someone please advise of a reliable visa agent that would be able to help me get a retirement visa. I am married to a Thai national but I believe the retirement visa is easier than the marriage one to get.

We have property in Uttaradit and plan to live there

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi everyone, I’d love to hear your experiences regarding a Non-B visa extension in Chiang Mai.

I currently hold a 1 year Non-B visa being the director of my own company here. My current permission of stay expires on November 14th, and I would like to extend it for another year.

However, I have a long trip planned during October-December, so I’m trying to figure out the best timing for the extension.

I know that I can submit the extension application up to 45 days before the expiry date but I'm not sure about they giving me a 30-day “under consideration” stamp first, followed by the full 1 year extension after review a month later...

Does anyone have recent experience with this process? Is the 30-day under consideration stamp the standard practice or they can give me the 1 year right away? How flexible are they if travel is involved during the renewal process?

Any tips or advice would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone ,

I am in the situation where I did a mistake on my application for a Thai e visa ( non b visa ).

I have 2 options :

Option 1 : still going to ventiane to pay the fees and try to get the visa even if it might be denied/ rejected because of this mistake ( and loose then 200 e of flight tickets for nothing).

Option 2 : wait until the Thai e visa application online expires after 14 days for not paying the fees at the Ventiane embassy. Then do another Thai e visa application with no mistake. ( I'm just not sure, if they let you do another application after one that has expired )

Did any of these situations happened to anyone here and how did it go ?

Thanks a lot for your help🙌🏻 🙌🏻

Got approved for DTV workcation yesterday which I am very happy about.

Now I want to ensure a frictionless entry. I've been reading of being being questioned intensely on entry - even with the visa.

I'm coming off 3 weeks outside the country after a very long stay on visa exemptions and extensions. As far as I'm concerned I'm fully legit with my visa now, do I just have the visa and digital arrival card ready when going through or do I need to be practicing my story, detailing plans etc. ?
