I am in the situation where I did a mistake on my application for a Thai e visa ( non b visa ).
I have 2 options :
Option 1 : still going to ventiane to pay the fees and try to get the visa even if it might be denied/ rejected because of this mistake ( and loose then 200 e of flight tickets for nothing).
Option 2 : wait until the Thai e visa application online expires after 14 days for not paying the fees at the Ventiane embassy. Then do another Thai e visa application with no mistake. ( I'm just not sure, if they let you do another application after one that has expired )
Did any of these situations happened to anyone here and how did it go ?
Thanks a lot for your helpππ» ππ»

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice after making a mistake on their Thai e visa (non-b visa) application. They are considering two options: either to proceed to Vientiane to pay the visa fee despite the mistake, risking rejection, or to allow the initial application to expire and then apply anew, ensuring no mistakes this time. Community members advise opting for the second option, emphasizing that they can apply while in Laos and to ensure all details are correct in the new application.
Option 2 but you have to apply online in Lao anyway. Wait for your original application to expire (14 days), go to Lao and start a new application. No money wasted. Make sure you correct your original error 2nd time round π

Don't go to pay the Visa fee, once you get into Laos start a new application, submit, copy the generated QR payment code and go pay the fee. Just let the other application die on the order table.
And don't try and cheat the system by not being in the country.

Just so everyone is aware the only reason their application wasn't rejected is because in Vientiane they don't even begin processing the application until you show up and pay for the visa.
The O/P mistakenly put their TM30 and thai address in the "current address" box of the application AND they aren't even in Lao yet ...
