Hi all. I am doing my homework on Retirement in Thailand from Australia.
This account let's you leave your money in your countries currency. Does anyone know if this account can be used as the 800k baht deposit. Would this meet immigration policy requirements? Thanks in advance for any direction.
If I deposit the 800,000k into my bank, then travel to Thailand for 60 days, then, for example go to Laos, for 1 month, and apply for Non-O visa there, thus completing the 3 months,is that OK?thanks in advance.
I applied at the Thai Embassy in Berlin and got it approved one week later.
The process was quite straightforward:
-I submitted my full employment contract along with a note from my employer (a remote-first company) confirming my role, salary, and that I can work remotely (no country specifics mentioned).
- I met the 500,000 THB financial requirement by showing funds in my account on the day of submission (the balance was below that beforehand, but it was accepted without issue).
- I selected the flights/hotels I intend to take but they never asked for proof.
- I got one request to prove my residency in Germany, which I did by showing my ID card
I hope this is helpful to some, if you have any questions let me know.
Here we go again, for all the haters out there of my questions I'm sure some poor sod might find it interesting, how can you get confirmation of a soft power activity for a DTV visa, no stupid answers please , I'm sure someone finds it interesting,
Can somebody from this group recommend Assisit visa agen(chiang Mai)for retirement visa?I already got non O 3 months from Chiang Mai immigration .Thank You
Applying for the LTR visa with a passport that expires in 2028. Does the LTR transfer when renewing the passport? I will be applying in the US and receive a printed copy of the visa. I am traveling elsewhere and don't have time to get a new passport before applying. TIA
Applied via the London Embassy. For DTV Freelance.
I just quit my job and am about to start my Freelance business. I currently have 0 clients and therefore £0 income yet, but I have my own website showcasing my abilities and portfolio of websites I launched as learning projects. I am planning to gain clients while in Thailand. I have already provided 3 months' bank statement of >500K Baht. I did mention in the application that I was of Freelance Status and No Income.
I have been asked to provide:
* Other request documents: - A recently letter confirming employment/contract details from your contractor or client stating your position and work role as remotely worker in Thailand (address to Royal Thai Embassy in London) signed by an authorised person.
* Other request documents: - Self assessment tax return / Statement of accounts / Accountant's letter / Personal tax calculation or computation statement from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) (Apart form your name, you can conceal any details that you would not want to show.)
* Other request documents: - Please upload your bank statement showing your monthly income transactions for last 3 months. (Please highlight income transactions from work. Screenshots are not accepted).
Would appreciate some help and clarity on the last 2 requests on what documents they are trying to acquire. Do I submit my tax documents from HRMC even though they were from my last employment? Do I create an LTD?
