Has anyone experienced having their bank account transfered an amount that completes the required 12kUSD less than 3 months before applying? Any issues? (thinking on applying from Vietnam or HK)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses experiences related to meeting the bank deposit requirement of 12,000 USD (or equivalent in THB) for a Thai visa application. Comments highlight that applicants from Vietnam have successfully obtained visas with recent deposits, as there is no seasoning requirement in Vietnam. However, applicants from Hong Kong must be permanent residents and will need to show a higher amount, approximately 615,000 THB, due to differing financial stipulations.

You can only apply in Hong Kong if you are a permanent resident. You will also need to have more money in your account if you’re applying from Hong Kong around 615,000 THB

You can find many posts of successful applicants with recent deposits approved in Vietnam. There is no mandatory seasoning requirement in Vietnam.
