For the DTV, does the application status changing from "pending document check" to "pending approval" mean that your chances of success have improved?

Question about DTV visa – switching from employment to freelance

Hi everyone,

I currently hold a DTV visa under employment with a company. If I leave my job, will my DTV still be valid?

Do I need to update my status to freelancer and show proof? Or once the visa is granted, is maintaining the 500k THB in the bank the only requirement?

Has anyone been through this process and can share what steps are needed?

Hello. When applying for a destination Thailand visa on the Thai e-visa website, you must specify the country you are entering from and your flight number. However, if I enter from a different country and on a different date than the one I specified, will I be denied entry or my visa invalidated?

Came into Bangkok airport today, had my DTV printed and my TDAC. Gave both documents and my passport, no questions just a smile from the immigration officer and stamped within 2 mins. Not everybody is being questioned at immigration for those worrying about it.

I’m very confused about some requirements, for the soft power, I read the requirement is 3 months of statements and having atleast 500k baht during that time right? I have 3 bank statements and 3 months of 500k baht in there but the beginning balance of an account is not enough, I added money in the middle of the month. I want to apply for soft power from the USA? Anyone do something similar?

The evisa is a nightmare. They keep asking me for my bank statements proving income over and over....and now on try number 5 they are now saying they want proof of 800 k in particular. They also insist I have the 5 prohibitive diseases health certificate. Ive just gone to the clinic. The one test takes 9 weeks. The tests also cost about 12k baht. Not a train smash but why???? I thought I had done my homework. Clearly not. Goal posts keep shifting. Insane.

My other option is to deposit the 65k into my Bangkok Bank account for 12 months and then apply. Not ideal of course.

Hi. Evisa for non O. What do you do when they now after the fact ask for following up docs...in particular medical certificate in past few months showing no prohibitive diseases. Well I havent had one. Do they mean I must now go for a health check? No mention of a number of things in the online visa system. Now suddenly all these other things. Like ALL the pages of your passport suddenly. Any clarity? I'm in Malaysia

Someone with a DTV managed to use truemoney app to scan and pay places? it apears this option is blocked

Has anyone here had success going in person to the Embassy in Hanoi to clarify or fix an issue with their DTV application?

I got an email asking for more documents

It says ‘ not enough money ‘

but I already submitted 3 months showing over £11,000 (which is above 500,000 THB).

1. Mercury Bank Statement (last 6 month) - (marked in color so they can view easily which transfers were made via wire / stripe)

2. Mercury Bank main page that shows the figures which are above 500,000.

2. Fly_Ticket Confirmation (outside of vietnam)

Hi! If my non-b visa is cancelled, is there an option to get a 7 day temporary extension after the cancellation? If yes, what is it called? I can’t seem to find info about it but am pretty sure I heard about this. Please advise! Thanks!
