Tried to do my 90 day check in online, it was rejected due to me leaving the country. It said I must go in person. I've booked an appointment to try to save some time (its a 2 hour round trip from my house). The earliest appointment is 7 days after my 90th day - 23 September, appointment 29th September. Will I be ok? Or will I be fined? Would it be better to suck it up and go there to queue a few days earlier? What would you do? Thanks in advance

I would appreciate the knowledge & experience in this group.

My question is about the 90 day reporting (TM30) after you enter Thailand on a new DTV visa.

Previously if we re enter we would report our residence at immigration.

But when we enter Thailand for the first time on a new DTV visa, we have also completed a TDAC, which has our address in it.

Do we also need to go to immigration within 24 hours?

Thank you in advance

Hi all,

How many client documents (contracts/invoices) are typically required for a DTV Workcation application? Also, is approval faster via an embassy/consulate or the Thai e-Visa website? Thanks.

I have the done the E-visa online for Non O 90 days retirement visa, it says it's confirmed today and has a valid from date on it being today 10th Sept 2025 and a valid Until date being 8th dec 2025 , is this the period of time I have to travel or is it the dates I can stay Thailand for , if it's the dates I can' stay in thailand for then it's all wrong , I told the e-visa people the dates I fly and I return on Feb 20th 2026 so why are my flights dates not showing , so it's all very confusing really . To me it's stating I have to be out of Thailand on Dec 8th 2025 is it there mistake or is it me and I am correct in thinking I must travel from today up to Dec 8th 2025 , thanks for your assistance or any info in this matter.

Hello everyone,

I have heard so much conflicting advice that I’ve decided to ask here.

I wanted to apply, here in my home country, for a retirement visa but I’ve been told that it’s not possible anymore.

1. I have a healthy Monthly income from military and civilian source. But im being told that proof of monthly income is no longer accepted for a retirement visa?

2. I want to figure out if it’s possible to get a visa that doesn’t require border runs.

3. Do I apply for one type of visa and then change to something else once in Thailand?

I know that these questions might seem foolish to some, but after so many conflicting answers, my brain is going to explode. 🤯

Need some immediate advice regarding the retirement visa.

I just got to Thailand about a week ago and am on the Non-O initial 90 day visa. I plan to sign a one year lease within a week or so, open a Thai bank account immediately after that, and then transfer the 800k baht to the account so I can let it sit there for two months before I apply for the one year extension.

*However I just found out this potential problem:* I already transferred the 800k baht to Wise so I could transfer it to the Thai bank account once I open it, but I heard that using Wise for the 800k baht transfer and not a direct wire transfer from my US bank could cause immigration to deny my one year extension. Has anyone encountered this issue? If I don't use Wise and just wire transfer another 800k baht from my US bank will that make everything ok?

I am utterly confused and appreciate any advice on this, thanks!
