Hi all, I'm here from Australia on a multiple entry visa which means i can stay for six months but have to leave every 2 months. As my plan is to stay for a total of 5 months, does anyone know if at 4 months I can go to an immigration office and request a 1 month extension rather than do a border run?

Hello everyone, is anyone else waiting for final approval in Hanoi for days on end without any progress?

Question. I’ve paid THB2000 when applying for my non-o visa Dependants Visa . I go back to immigration in 2 weeks after it’s processed.

We were told at the time , immigration will do a house visit to confirm my address with my Thai wife. They are coming this morning before 12noon. My wife took the call and was told another THB2000 is due when they visit. I cannot see anywhere to say this is true. Can anyone confirm if I should be paying another THB2000 for this immigration home visit? It might be they have got confused with the original 2000 I paid when submitting application with paperwork. Help please

For anyone applying in Canada right now, just wanted to share because I was super nervous before applying and just timing everything accordingly to my move - but DTV was approved from start to finish in 1 day

Submitted everything yesterday, one more document requested at 10am today, fully approved and emailed to me this afternoon

Submitted employment portfolio, 3 months of bank statements then they just requested a copy of my business license and I was good to go!

I stupidly booked a flight a bit beyond the 6 month entry allowance for a dtv, rushed it last minute booking

Will immigration have an issue with boarding pass being past 180 day entry ?

If so what can I do I rang Thai consulate in Australia no help

Changing flight at this stage is expensive, thought of booking a random flight to say Vietnam for part way through my trip, not sure if that’s suffice

Or because I have plenty funds and such a long time to change things immigration will be fine ?

“Have you ever applied for Thai visa” - hey guys I’m on the travel page of the application and ran into this question.

I was last in Thailand 18 years ago, I think, and I don’t remember the visa situation fully.

I think I had 90 days at the time? Could be wrong, maybe 60 - but I stayed 6 weeks.

I booked the whole trip in a Trailfinders office in Dublin - or something similar to Trailfinders - where you would also book “Interrailing” tickets etc.

Point is, I can’t remember if they applied for a visa for me, or if there was visa free travel back then maybe?

What would you suggest I answer?

Saw this post from one of the large agents in Pattaya not visa related but another hot topic driving licence. Currently only applies to Chonburi District
