Hi everyone, I applied for the visa in Hanoi on the night of the 23rd, and it’s been showing “pending approval (1)” since the 25th. The status hasn’t changed since then. Does anyone know approximately how long it’s taking in Hanoi, and what this status means?

Hello Folks,

I just received a visa rejection email from the Thai Embassy in Dhaka. I applied under the Workcation Visa category on June 22, and today, instead of moving forward from “Pending Document Check,” it went straight to Visa Rejected.

Not sure what I might have missed! But I can ensure you that all documents and the input on e visa portarl was correct and legit.

Here’s what I submitted:

✅ Bank statements and solvency certificate (with more than the required amount, over 6 months) with regular tranjactions.

✅ Employment confirmation letter and an LLC company report from my employer (I work with them via Upwork). Been working for that company for the last 3 years.

✅ Upwork income certificate for the last 12 months

✅ Freelancer ID issued by the Bangladesh government

✅ All other regular documents (residency proof, air ticket, hotel booking, etc.)

Do you think I should apply again? If yes, when would be the right time?

Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Happy traveling, everyone!

Thank you.

Hi. Has any spouse had a problem getting their DTV in Hanoi after their partner was approved for Muay Thai classes? Trying to decide if I should do a separate DTV for Muay Thai classes or can I save on the cost by getting a spouse visa? Advice appreciated 🙏

Coming to Thailand on a 5 year, multi entry DTV. Do we check in with immigration every 90 days still or annually?

Hi. I am seeing conflicting information about the following so seeking some advice.

I currently in Thailand on an ED visa but studies are almost complete. There will be about two weeks left on the ED Visa. I am returning the UK before that ED Visa expires and intend to apply for a non-o visa based on being over 50 when I am back in the UK.

My question is, do I need to ask immigration to cancel the last two weeks of the ED visa before I leave or is it effectively cancelled as soon as I pass through immigration at the airport?

I don’t want to risk getting rejected for the new non-o visa by already having a “valid visa” in my passport.

Thanks.

Hi!

Hoping to get clarity and some help from all.

Just got my final approval document for thr LTR Wealthy Pensioner. Yay!

It was my understanding that I would next have to get a stamp issued in my passport. I live in

NYC.

Called NYC embassy twice-of course 2 different answers. They are now telling me i need to apply for the e-visa. Once that’s done i will get another document that i am supposed to take with me upon my next arrival in Thailand to get the stamp in my passport.

I litetally just got back and plan on moving permanently Oct 1. The issuance is valid for 60 days so does that mean i have to fly to Thailand to get the stamp, come back, them move on Oct 1?? Ugh. Or would the e-visa document give me a new timeline?

Any info greatly appreciated

Thx all.
