Planning on moving to Thailand with the family from the Philippines. We will ship most of our kitchen appliances etc. I would like to ship my record album collection ~3500 albums, based on what I have been reading, I would be paying hefty taxes and duty fees??? Does anybody have any information on shipping bulk items such as this? (these are personal use, not for resale)

I looked back on other posts to see if I could find a thread, but I did not see any regarding this subject. Has anyone brought professional level musical instruments into Thailand? Did you pay any customs fees/tax? I do not plan to use them for work but I need to practice playing.

Is there a fee to exit Laos when crossing the friendship bridge on public bus from Vientiane to Udon Thani? I am going from Vientiane to Udon Thani via the public bus. I will be crossing around 5pm. I have my Thai visa. I want to know if there are any additional fees at the border crossing, and if so, what they are. Thank you.
