Looking for some information: Since Trump put down the “ no visa “ mandate in January does anyone know what happens to people that were approved before that happened but hadn’t had their embassy interview yet? I’m thinking one of three things might happen;

1. You get the visa and can go to the USA because you were already appointed and the mandate affects people that had not been approved before the mandate

or

2. You get approved for the visa but cannot immigrate until the mandate is lifted

or

3. You are denied and it’s just too bad so sad you’re stuck like chuck. And that sucks. All the time and money wasted.

I haven’t heard about what’s happened to anyone in this process and it would be great if NVC would put out info on the possibilities. The limbo is very frustrating. I’ve heard they go on a case by case basis but more basic info would be helpful.

In 3 months time I will apply for dtv visa, I have 2 options, 1 is soft power cooking class, the 2nd one is medical purpose (dental implant).

Which embassy is easier for approval please?

And if they reject me in first instance for example for soft power, can I try again from the same town for medical purpose?

Or can highlight both reasons in my request?

Many thanks

I probably already know the answer but Im going to ask anyways. Im nowhere near retirement age but have reoccurring income from the US government and a full time job. Are there any visa options aside from a short term tourist visa without moving 500k baht to a bank account for the DTV?

Hi my wife’s UK and Australian citizen. She travels on Australian passport with 5 year retirement visa, living in Thailand. Due to UK passport rules she now has to travel to UK return to Thailand using her UK passport. Her retirement Visa is in her Aussie passport. What’s the situation there please. Much appreciated. 🙏

Just got this request from the Washington DC Embassy. How to proceed?

I don’t understand - I submitted all of these things except the payslip.

How do I proceed? Do I have a new letter written and send the same bank statements or send the three most recent ones? (I had a statement closing after submission of the application)

I sent three different bank statements because my funds are scattered and included a reconciliation. However, when I submitted it the previous three months included some of December because of the statement closing date.

I have a 60 day tourist visa and am flying from Australia in May. I have booked my return ticket 84 days after arrival as I intend to ask for the 30 day extension stamp.

Q - Will Thai immigration have a problem with this ?

Q - Will DTAC have a problem with this ?

FYI for you constructive advice
