I rarely use cash, Thailand, US, and the Philippines. Not only do I not have to deal with getting cash sent to me all the time, or use ATM's all the time, I get the best exchange rate. My question to you is, why do you still use cash? Oh, I also get a LOT of points for every purchase (which equals free money). I am also over 60, I've been using credit cards, almost exclusively, for at least 15 years. "Living on credit" what exactly does that mean? Do I carry some cash on me, of course I do.

All those that state children can go to school on "any" visa please provide me with links that back that up. Here is a reply from one of the Visa agencies, "For your information, it is indeed correct that in order to attend a school, your son will need to have an ED visa.

Therefore, after your son got LTR and before he will be attending school, he will indeed need to change his visa from LTR to ED visa instead."

in 4 years, you will have 3 children in school and that gets extremely expensive. We are looking at our options with just one child and we cant afford most of what is available (unless your kids can speak Thai?) We are also looking into the ED Visa vs other visas and there is a lot of conflicting information. Best of luck to you
