May I know how to answer when embassy told us to submit 6 months of accommodation in Thailand? Without visa , how can we rent long term room 😔..

Finally, I presume we want to leave it as late as possible as the next 90 days starts the day we do it. Is this correct?

Time to renew my non o visa based on having a Thai child. I have done this a few times but would like some advice in case anything has changed.

I am still married but we changed the non o specification based on a technicality. My current visa expires on December 31 2024. I am eager to apply as late as possible to avoid having to apply in December every year. Given bangkok immigration office closures on December 30-31, I am considering going on December 27th.

I will bring:

Completed TM7 with photos,

my child’s birth certificate in English and Thai,

letter from his school confirming his attendance,

marriage certificate,

my wife’s Thai id and tabian baan,

receipt of TM30,

12 months stamped bank statements

proof of funds going back 3 months having over 400,000 THB in a Thai bank

2 pics outside the house, 2 pics inside the house, Map of applicant house in Thailand

I will make 2 copies of everything.

Is there anything I am missing or that I should be aware of?

As a resident of Australia & being on the age pension, can I apply for a long term retirement visa to Thailand while I am there for a holiday?

I work as an IT consultant under a contract with a single company in EU. I do not have a legal entity (it's a civil contract).

1) What kind of documents should I be preparing? I know what they're asking on the website, but it's not very detailed. Anyone applied recently and have some feedback?

2) Do I need the company's business registration license? If so, what kind of authorized translation do they need to make? (It is not in English). Is it authorized, notarized or go to the Thai embassy in their country?

I plan to apply in Cambodia and the requirements are not very detailed.

Since yesterday, Jakarta has become eligible for e-visas. I have a question regarding dependent applications: previously, when it was possible to apply in person, two separate bank accounts (for me and my dependent) with 500k each were not required. What is the situation now with e-visas?

I just wanted to clarify something with people that already did the DTV.

Is the total cost of the VISA for 5 years (Excluding extensions) 10,000 bath?

Is any other type of VISA like ED mandatory?

I've contacted multiple agencies, and they all try to push their language / cooking / course on top of it.

So again, is another type of VISA like ED mandatory or is enough to pay the DTV and have all the requirements (income/savings/etc.).?

Don’t forget to do your Tm30 when you arrive if your landlord or hotel has not done it for you.

And you will need to do 90 day reports at your local immigration.

My Sisaket immigration office was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I’m from Germany and actually staying in Thailand till 17 Dez. Then I fly to Bali for 7 Days and return to Thailand. In this time I want to apply for the DTV with a Muay Thai course. Is it possible in this time return to Thailand and get the DTV Visa? Or can I come back to Thailand on the 24 Dez, get Visa on arrival and get the DTV E-Visa when I am already there?
