Hi,
I just wanted to clarify something with people that already did the DTV.
Is the total cost of the VISA for 5 years (Excluding extensions) 10,000 bath?
Is any other type of VISA like ED mandatory?
I've contacted multiple agencies, and they all try to push their language / cooking / course on top of it.
So again, is another type of VISA like ED mandatory or is enough to pay the DTV and have all the requirements (income/savings/etc.).?
Thanks!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The total cost for applying for a 5-year DTV visa is approximately 10,000 baht, although this can vary depending on the embassy used. Extensions or border runs would incur additional costs but are not necessary if one meets the requirements to qualify as a remote worker. An ED visa is not mandatory if all documentation for the DTV is provided, although some courses are promoted to qualify under the soft power route.
