Can I apply for a DTV visa in Thailand after returning from Bali?
I’m from Germany and actually staying in Thailand till 17 Dez. Then I fly to Bali for 7 Days and return to Thailand. In this time I want to apply for the DTV with a Muay Thai course. Is it possible in this time return to Thailand and get the DTV Visa? Or can I come back to Thailand on the 24 Dez, get Visa on arrival and get the DTV E-Visa when I am already there? Thanks for helping

My advice to you would be to make a profile on the eVisa online system website
upload all the documents you can now and store the application in your profile (you can store up to 10)
THEN as soon as you get to Indonesia, upload your entry stamp/visa, recent bank information and apply for the visa
Having everything "ready to go" like that is as fast as you can do it, and it should come back pretty quickly.

don't count on it by pre booking your flights departing. Wait until the DTV visa decision is known. Then leave. They could ask for added documents or even a personal interview.Anan ********

These rules are general rules fro visa application most countries use.In most countries you cannot break this rules, because you simply cannot enter the country without visa, or they do not use an e-visa system, both preventing entering the country before application is processed.
E-visa is not meant to change the whole process, just to make it easier to apply.
A lot of Thai embassies explain this also on their website.

If you're going to apply for a DTV which you do not in Bali but in Jakarta using the online system you have to STAY IN Indonesia until you get the visa approved (or rejected)

it's not about Immigration knowing or not, but that the Embassy might at any time request addional prove that you're still IN the country. If you fail to comply, they will reject the application.Tod *********

they want a statement that shows 6 months of transactions, so send that many, no matter what the balance was before it got to 500KTarun **********
