How about steps neccessary to get a non o marriage visa without an agent. Can my Thai wife assist in the bank deposit procedure. And can I skip the deposit with a years worth of income statement greater than 40,000 baht per month. Lastly is there a printout at immigration with clear cut direction on how to complete all the necessary documents?

Has anyone successfully gotten the DTV with a cooking course? I don’t feel like getting beat up just to get this visa. If you have, what specific cooking class did you sign up for?

I applied for a DTV online (chose Frankfurt, Germany as location.)

I have my own company (US LLC) through which I do business.

First, they asked for confirmation that I'm employed by the company and can work remotely even though I already sent this - so I wrote another certificate and sent it again.

Now, they're asking for a working contract between my and my bank???

My assumption is that they either:

* Got something mixed up and need clarification which is the bank and which is my company

* Don't understand that this is my company and technically I don't even need a contract or anything, I can of course work from wherever I want (I sent them tons of documentation of ownership, work history, invoices, remote permission etc.)

I think it's best to send them an email and clear up the situation.

Or am I missing something/doing something wrong?

In the past, many people with extensive visas, or visa runs, extensions, etc. were sometimes given a hard time trying to enter the country at some airports.

Reading through the posts it seems all are getting through now without any issues when a DTV is obtained.

Have there been any reports of immigration officers at airports giving people a hard time during entry with a DTV if they had a prior extensive entry history?

Also, is it necessary to carry in 10,000 baht (or more) or the equivalent while going back to Thailand?

Has anyone had experience using a Visa card to pay on the eVisa website? After entering the security code, the amount was deducted from my card, but I was automatically logged out. When I logged back in, my application status still showed 'Pending payment,' even though the money was already deducted. Does this mean the payment went through, or did the embassy not receive it? I am trying to decide where to apply for the DTV HCMC/Hanoi/Vientiane, but I cannot find the link to book an appointment online in these locations. I want to check the appointment availability before I apply. I started the visa application for HCMC on [members only]/ but I cannot see where to book an appointment. Do I need to submit the application first and then book an appointment?
