- they didn't even look at our passports.

- most of that sounds good. The hotel where we are staying now has never reported us to immigration. I hope that's not a reason to be rejected. They did fill out a tm30 for us to use, but immigration in Bangkok never asked for one.

- that's what we thought in Malaysia. They had amnesty for over a year, then last April they told all foreigners with social visit passes to leave, with few exceptions made. We came in thru a border crossing and had to fly out.
