mate you’ll get a non o based on marriage in Oz with your Oz certificate. You’ll need copy of wife’s tabien Baan, a letter explaining you will be staying with her, Copies of last 3 bank statements and a few other things I can’t remember. It will all be on the melb consulate website. I been getting non o marriage 12 month multi entry for the last 3 years in Brizvegas, last one still has 6 months left to go. 200 odd bucks and bobs your uncle.

Point 3 on TM6 says only need to report if staying more than 90 days. This was the card I completed on arrival last month.

Anyone got any info/advice on this?

cheers I get that. I used to have to show income/bank statements in Australia to get this type of visa also. Now no proof of funds required whatsoever. I couldn’t believe it at first, called the consulate in Brisbane and they confirmed it.

well that sucks for UK residents then. Used to require proof of income in Australia. Now they don’t. You would think the requirements would be the same everywhere. Oh well.

So Tod. As far as working on a Non immigrant-O Spouse visa. Is a work permit still required?
