ORIGINAL POSTER
For 25 years I had a Non Immigrant O visa multiple entry. I believe I got the last visa to be issued at the Thai Consulate in Birmingham England before it closed.. Visa number B7913070 2nd March 2016..

After that I had to do a 350 mile round trip to the Thai Consulate in Hull. Despite having my daughter's birth certificate and my house book I was only given a Single Entry tourist visa.

I am not married but my daughter and her mother live together and have done for over 25 years though my daughter will be 18 in March.

HOW CAN I GO BACK TO .A NON IMMIGRANT VISA. Your help and advice would be welcomed. Thank you.

Age is not important:

Applicant has no age restriction in case that the child is under 20 years old.

Applicant must be over 50 years old in case that the child is over 20 years old.
Ron *******
His daughter has to be 25 years old at least according to his post.

you can get Single Entry Non Immigrant O visa based on having Thai Children at several Thai Consulates in the area or even at the London Embassy.

You can apply for the 1 year Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O visa based on having a Thai Child at the Thai Consulate in Penang, but one of the requirements is 400.000 Thb or equivalent currency in a bank account on your name

EDIT:

please share this information with him.

If your child is 18, I don't know if your child can still be a dependent on you.
@Robert ******
, what age is a child considered independent? Is it 18?
Robert *******
20 years.

1. Are you married to a Thai?

2. What was the reason for the single entry tourists visa? Did they tell you?
David *******
He says he is not married.
