Visa advice needed

My Thai wife and I will marry in Australia very soon, she needs to return home to Thailand as soon as possible and doesn’t want to travel alone. If we have our marriage certificate can I apply for a non o 12 month multi entry visa based on marriage in Laos. And what information is required for that visa application either in Laos or in Australia or other?

Yes in Australia, Melbourne.

Does it need to be registered with the Thai consulate here in Melbourne?

mate you’ll get a non o based on marriage in Oz with your Oz certificate. You’ll need copy of wife’s tabien Baan, a letter explaining you will be staying with her, Copies of last 3 bank statements and a few other things I can’t remember. It will all be on the melb consulate website. I been getting non o marriage 12 month multi entry for the last 3 years in Brizvegas, last one still has 6 months left to go. 200 odd bucks and bobs your uncle.

Savannakhet want to see the original and a copy of the wedding certificate, If this wedding must be registered first at a Thai Consulate in their home country, or must be in English otherwise translated into Thai or English and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or if it just enough to register this marriage at your local amphur and get the Khor Ror 22 are things I'm not sure of

That means you want me to scroll through all the post in the populair topic Savannakhet and find a question of a person using an Australian Wedding certificate

Where are you in AU?

When you say soon...what is the date you plan to travel with your Wife?

Will marriage be registered with Thai Embassy/Consulate in AU?

With needed documents you could go to Savannakhet Laos and obtain Non O Married to Thai one year visa.

Robert Lagas can better advise on it.
