@Nick ***********
I was referring to transfer between banks once the money is in Thailand.

I’m pretty sure anyone living here has one of the included banks, that they then can transfer with no cost once you’ve deposited into supported Thai bank account (wise still charges for transfer to Thai bank though)

This looks like part of their additional crackdown on IML activities. Nothing really convening

@Greg *****
yeah that’s closing a system for only Thai banks

Leave the bike bring the box (and dog) and get a new one here.

Do you have enough money in the bank for DTV? This would solve your issue
Tyler *******
Why would you advertise how much money you have 🤦🏻‍♂️

Consult a financial advisor if you care about the best returns on your investment. Sitting in a bank account is not it.

we don’t know what they told you. But to answer your question, you can not work on an ED Visa. You would need to get a new type of visa that allows for a work permit, such as Non-B. Once you enter Thailand on that visa, then you can apply for work permit. Your job should walk you through this or get you an agent to help you.

Check the websites of the embassy in the neighboring countries. KL was 3 days, Hanoi was 2 (but wanted a lot of extra paperwork)
