I've know a lady. A friend of my wife, we've known her for 10 years or so, she handles DLs, she is in Pattaya, but can do it remotely (I think) its 2,500thb (or it was) so not cheap, but if your stuck i can give you her deatails.

There are international companies offering health insurance in Thailand. In Canada I'm only aware of companies offering travel health insurances. So are limited in terms of time. Some Thai companies do offer health insurance, there more difficult to understand and need a careful review.

Yes, the banking regulations have put a 50kthb transaction limit on line transactions. It came in in Junish, affects all banks

funny enough in the x years I've had it, its one of the first times its been useful. But with the bank changes it may well be needed. BTW I only used the book because it was first on the menu. I could have used my pink card or driving licence.
