I lost mine and went to immigration and they just gave me a new one. Of course each place is different and answers differ from person to person. Definitely call first if you need to travel a distance to get to immigration.

S ram leisure hotel. Check it out on YouTube. Greeny travels. Pool side room with balcony. You can sit outside all day. 39,000baht. One of the cheapest, but good hotel.
