Hello everyone, I have been having serious problems with Thailand Pass and I don’t know what to do.
My Thai wife and I both submitted our Thailand Pass 10 days ago. My wife got her QR code in five minutes. Ten days later, I do not have mine. I got my confirmation email immediately, though. When I looked up the status of my application, it said “Wait 3-7 days,” which is fine. However, three days later, my application was instead returning a red “The information is not registered” error. At that point, I went and applied again. Three days later, the same problem. I have also tried the following:
-Tried from a different Gmail address
-Tried just before 8:00am
-Tried putting a space before/after my passport number
At that point, I had my wife Line the Thai Consular department, but they were useless (“make sure you’ve entered your information correctly,” followed by ignoring all messages). After that, she called the Thai Consular Department. The first person said, “We can still see your information, though. Call us if it isn’t fixed by tonight.” It wasn’t fixed. She called the next day and they were pretty rude to her, stating, “Your flight is in December. Why are you calling us now? Call back in a couple of weeks.”
So now I don’t know what to do. I’ve already paid for my round trip flight and my SHA++ hotel. I don’t feel comfortable booking the rest of my flights, hotels, and etc., because I don’t even know if it will be possible to go to Thailand.
What advice do you have?
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is facing significant difficulties with their Thailand Pass application, having submitted it 10 days ago without receiving a QR code, unlike their wife who got hers immediately. They are experiencing repeated errors when checking their application status and have tried various troubleshooting methods without success. Despite contacting the Thai Consular Department, they received little assistance and are now concerned about their upcoming travel plans. Multiple commenters offer advice, including checking for spaces in the application, contacting support directly, and even hiring an external company to expedite the process.
