Hi all. I looked in my passport and I see I still have an old TM6 stapled inside from when I entered Thailand a couple years ago (btw I been on a work visa, that's why inside Thailand that long). It says Departure Card. When I leave the country to apply for my DTV, am I supposed to complete that card and give it to someone on my way out? Or did they stop that too?
Thailand canceled TM6 Arrival/Departure cards in the airports but not at the land border crossings.
If one arrives in Thailand by air without getting TM6 form, how could he/she exit Thailand by land without Departure card required at the land border crossing?
Going to immigration in Chiang Mai next week to extend my 60 day tourist visa for tourism purposes. Has anyone been recently? What docs are required? So far I have found form TM.7 which I fill out when I arrive, photo 4x6 cm, original passport, copy of passport and relevant pages, and a photocopy of departure card. I don't have a departure card, never received one, maybe I was sleeping on the plane when they were passed out. Is it required? Any advice appreciated. Thank you.
I'm going to Chaengwattana this morning (in an hour or 2) to queue for the Extension based on Tourism. What do I need to bring apart from my passport and the fee? Also, I lost my departure card but I have the police report.
For extension tourism visa 30 days the ....copy of your departure card....... is flight ticket to go out from Thailand ? if mine is after 3- 4 months what happen . Thanks
Quick question. My landlord is filling out the TM 30. It is asking me for an immigration card #. I'm not seeing it. Would that be the number on the departure card? or the EF/Stay Permit # stamped in the passport? Do I even have one given that I entered on a visa exempt? Thank you in advance.
I'll be doing my first covid extension on Koh Samui this week (came on TR visa which has been extended once for 30 days already).
I have unfortunately managed to lose my departure card and will have to get a new one...
Anybody know whether I can get that done at the immigration office or whether I have to go to the police station? I keep reading conflicting information (some also rather long ago) , so if someone could give me some input/clarity it would be greatly appreciated! I think it should be fine either way, but it's making me a bit anxious 🙈
