Hi there! I understand the law, no marriage certificate, no sharing of room in ASQ Hotel because they don't recognize common law. May I know if anyone any luck with adjoining rooms?

I saw on YouTube that a couple checked into a quarantine hotel and were put in separate buildings. Not going to have adjoining rooms.

I’m sure they’ll be someone that will enjoy having a shot at my question, but Just for a simple bloke like myself, is an Australian Marriage Certificate sufficient ??

You can get ajoining rooms, but the connecting door will be locked so you can have no contact with each other.

There are a few hotels with connecting rooms. Pullman has one, it's 80,000 baht for 2 rooms. I know they're designed to facilitate families, I don't know if they'll allow 2 people (friends or otherwise) to use the adjoining rooms. Can't hurt to ask though.

I've been thinking the same thing, whenever someone is complaining about this. So many people haven't seen their partners for months on end or even more, so two weeks really should not be a problem. Might be a nice break from each other :).
